Objective
The SX Trash to Treasure Art & Design Contest invites participants to transform everyday discarded materials into creative works of art and design that generate new value. Beyond their artistic appeal, the creations also serve as prototypes for functional products, including household items and decorative furniture. The competition features 2D and 3D categories. By giving new life to materials often regarded as waste, the competition demonstrates how creativity can generate value and benefit society. It also serves as a tangible example of the Circular Economy and reuse, helping raise awareness, deepen understanding, and inspire more sustainable behaviors in the future. The competition encourages participants and the public to rethink everyday consumption, adopt more responsible behaviors, and help create a more balanced world through "Sufficiency for Sustainability."

Theme
Resilience in Action: Adapt, Embrace, Transform
Today's world is changing faster than ever and becoming increasingly unpredictable. Sustainability is no longer just about protecting the environment. It is about our ability to adapt, embrace uncertainty, and transform the way we live so that we, our communities, and our planet can thrive in any situation.
Adapt
Adapt to a changing world in every dimension, from the environment and technology to resources, health, and the way people live. Adaptation is not something one person does alone. It is something we learn together by staying open to new realities, understanding emerging challenges, and finding solutions that fit today's world.
Embrace
Embrace new opportunities and possibilities. Every change brings challenges, but it also creates new opportunities. To embrace is to recognize the potential around us, exchange ideas across generations, experiences, and disciplines, and build on diverse perspectives to turn limitations into new beginnings that improve lives, health, and communities.
Transform
Transform the way we think and act to live in harmony with the world. Sustainability does not always begin with grand actions. It starts with small changes in our everyday lives, such as using resources wisely, reducing waste, caring for our health, and creating solutions that benefit ourselves, society, and the planet.
