As the world faces relentless and unprecedented crises, one crucial question arises: How can we adapt and survive together?
The answer awaits you at the BETTER COMMUNITY Zone, one of the highlights of Sustainability Expo 2025 (SX2025) — ASEAN’s largest sustainability event, now in its 6th year. The expo will take place from 26 September to 5 October 2025 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC).
Here lies the essence of “Community in Action” — a movement to ignite the spirit of doers and volunteers, proving that small efforts, when united, can truly transform the future.
Inspiring Active Citizens
The BETTER COMMUNITY Zone invites you to explore the roles of real changemakers and volunteers across diverse fields. More than 50 organizations will come together to share their stories, achievements, and strategies for how cities and communities are adapting in this ever-changing world.
Every story will highlight one simple truth: taking action is the key to building resilient communities — and it will inspire you to step forward as an Active Citizen ready to drive meaningful change.
Three Must-Visit Experience Zones
Designed as a space for learning, engagement, and inspiration, the BETTER COMMUNITY Zone features three interactive areas you won’t want to miss:
Inspiring Showcase
Discover the power of collective action — from grassroots economic development and community care networks to inclusive urban initiatives that create cities for everyone.
Connect the Dots
Take your first step into volunteerism. Explore self-discovery activities that help match you with the volunteer role that best fits your passion and potential.
Gathering Space
A platform for knowledge-sharing and dialogue, where changemakers share firsthand experiences, and participants exchange perspectives while building strong new networks for collective action.
Be Part of the Power That Transforms the World
SX2025 invites you to take action and be part of building communities that can adapt and thrive together in a changing world.
Whether you are a student, a professional, or simply someone eager to make a difference — this is your chance to discover the value of your own power and how, when combined with others, it can spark real change. “Sufficiency for Sustainability, For the World.”
