Legacy for Sustainability: SEP INSPIRATION Zone at SX2025
Decoding the Philosophy of “Sufficiency” to Overcome Every Crisis
Step into a new experience of development for the future at the SEP INSPIRATION Zone, part of the Sustainability Expo (SX2025) — ASEAN’s largest sustainability platform. This zone brings together a comprehensive “roadmap to sustainability” derived from the real practices of key national institutions. The knowledge and experiences showcased here carry forward the royal initiatives of King Rama IX and the dedication of the Royal Family to offer a steadfast guide for all sectors to adapt and advance sustainably in times of crisis.
Mission of Inheritance: Principles for Stability from the Chaipattana Foundation
The Chaipattana Foundation presents its vital mission of carrying forward the royal aspirations of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great through the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy (SEP INSPIRATION)—a way of life and a national development approach rooted in reasonableness, prudence, and sustainability.
This exhibition demonstrates that SEP INSPIRATION is not only a theoretical concept, but a practical framework applicable at every level. It showcases proven success stories that highlight its effectiveness in addressing crises and driving sustainable change which reflects a true “Victory through Development.”
Mae Fah Luang Handbook: A Globally Recognized Model of Success
The Mae Fah Luang Foundation presents its guiding principles through the “Mae Fah Luang Handbook,” a body of invaluable knowledge drawn from the renowned “Doi Tung Model” and other internationally acclaimed projects.
This exhibition underscores that the principles of the Mae Fah Luang Textbook are practical and adaptable—whether at the individual, community, or organizational level. It affirms that everyone has a vital role to play in advancing sustainability, creating lasting positive impact for both society and the environment.
ORDPB Launches Innovative Learning for Youth
The Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB) showcases the royal initiatives of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, together with the royal aspirations of King Rama IX and King Rama X. A key highlight is the presentation of the achievements of the “Mobile Unit”—a mobile exhibition vehicle designed to bring knowledge and learning to youth across the country.
Not to be missed is the launch of the second Mobile Unit, designed under the concept of “Forest, Soil, Water, and Energy.” This new unit aims to deliver knowledge and inspire sustainability among the younger generation comprehensively and equitably across all areas.
Integration for Sustainability
In addition, the SEP INSPIRATION Zone presents a comprehensive approach to driving sustainability across multiple dimensions.
Religion and Sustainability
The exhibition “Religion and Sustainability: Adapting for Our Shared Future” highlights the vital role of Buddhism in fostering a peaceful and sustainable society. It introduces the idea of transitioning temples from centers of faith to hubs of sustainable development, as well as the integration of AI technology to collect and disseminate Buddhist teachings, making them more accessible to younger generations.
Ministry of Interior: Driving the SDGs Locally
The Ministry of Interior presents the concept of “The Power of Interior: Driving Thailand Sustainability” through a variety of initiatives, such as the “Interior Ministry Spreading Happiness” project” and exhibitions of successful local development efforts. The focus is on harnessing the power of local administration and active citizen participation as key mechanisms in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Water Management through Technology and Nature
The Utokapat Foundation and the Hydro–Informatics Institute (HII) present approaches that connect people, cities, nature, and technology to build an effective water resource management system. Visitors will learn about the use of the ThaiWater information system for disaster preparedness and the importance of the Telemetering Station Project in upstream forests, which helps reduce risks and losses from natural disasters in a sustainable way.
We invite everyone to come learn and be inspired by the success of sustainable development at the SEP INSPIRATION Zone in the SUSTAINABILITY EXPO 2025 (SX2025), Ground Floor, from 26 September – 5 October 2025, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC).
