The Chaipattana Foundation, ORDPB, OBEC, and ThaiBev have partnered to bring modern digital learning tools to remote areas, aiming to empower the next generation with practical knowledge for sustainable development.

A powerful four-party alliance, comprising the Chaipattana Foundation, the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB), the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), and Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev), has officially launched the "Continuing the Knowledge of Royal Initiatives Project" for the year 2025. The launch included a scholarship ceremony and the handover of state-of-the-art "Mobile Learning Units" designed to disseminate the profound knowledge of Thailand's Royal Initiatives to youth in remote and project-adjacent areas.

The official ceremony was held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and was attended by key figures including Mr. Lalit Thanomsing, Member and Deputy Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation; Mrs. Suporn Trinarin, Secretary-General of the ORDPB; Mr. Pichet Phophakdee, Secretary-General of OBEC; and Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, President and CEO of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited.

Mrs. Suporn Trinarin, Secretary-General of the ORDPB, explained that the project aims to provide teachers and students with direct access to the principles and successes of the Royal Initiatives through these innovative mobile classrooms, which she described as "living natural museums."

"These mobile units, supported by ThaiBev, are equipped with modern and engaging educational media to translate complex concepts into accessible knowledge," Mrs. Suporn stated. "Topics include the 'Klaeng Din' (aggravating soil) theory for soil improvement, the New Theory Agriculture for land and water management, the 'Three Forests, Four Benefits' principle, and the 'Kaem Ling' (monkey cheek) water retention project. The knowledge is conveyed through animated videos and interactive activities like a Snakes and Ladders game, making the learning process enjoyable and directly applicable to daily life."

She added that this dynamic learning approach not only enhances academic skills but also inspires students to apply this wisdom, support their families, and concretely embrace the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for a sustainable future.

The collaboration is set for a three-year period, primarily targeting schools within the operational areas of the six Royal Development Study Centres across the country, as well as other remote schools. The four partners will jointly develop and produce educational materials that align with the national curriculum, ensuring the effective and widespread dissemination of knowledge derived from the Royal Initiatives.

This initiative is a profound commitment to "preserve, protect, and build upon" the legacy of over 5,000 Royal Projects initiated by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (King Rama IX). It continues this vital work under the Royal Aspirations of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, ensuring that the benefits of this wisdom reach the next generation, who are the cornerstone of the nation's future development.
